Chairside Toolkit for Dental Teams — Chrome extension

Last updated: 23 July 2026

This extension collects nothing, transmits nothing, and has no server.

What is stored

The extension uses chrome.storage.local to remember three interface preferences so the popup opens the way you left it:

These are stored on your own computer, in your own Chrome profile. They contain no patient information.

What is not stored

Patient weight, ASA status, procedure descriptions, fees, deductible and annual maximum figures, and tooth selections exist only in the popup’s memory while it is open. Closing the popup discards them. They are never written to disk and never leave the device.

Network activity

NONE

The extension declares no host permissions, makes no fetch or XHR calls, loads no remote scripts, fonts, or images, and contains no analytics, telemetry, advertising, or error-reporting code. It functions identically with the machine offline.

Permissions

storage is the only permission requested, for the interface preferences above. The extension requests no host permissions, injects no content scripts, and runs no background service worker.

Third parties

There are none. No data is sold, shared, or disclosed, because no data is collected.

HIPAA note

Because no patient information is transmitted or retained, the extension does not create, receive, maintain, or transmit protected health information on behalf of a covered entity. Practices remain responsible for the physical and access security of the workstation itself.

Changes

Any future change to this policy will ship with a version update and be reflected on this page and in the Chrome Web Store listing.

Contact

Please use the support contact listed on the extension’s Chrome Web Store page.
